I hope everyone had very merry and happy holidays. There were some who remembered me with cards and such and I wanted to say thank you very much for those and sorry for not being here to return the love in more ways that this. Those kindnesses lifted my spirit.

I am trying to write. I was able to finish the GS chapter and update that right before Christmas, but my problem is time. New job equals no time. However, I am determined to write at least a couple of paragraphs a week. LMAO

Maybe I'll be able to update GS or WTD once a month or so, which would be so much better than I have done in the past year and a half. No, I haven't given up on my fandom love, Fang Fetish Awards, or finishing my two WIP. All I can ask is that everyone be patient with me.

I changed my lj cause xmas is done. :) it kinda reminds me of the inside of a coffin or something...i think i like it. :D

i'm making a matching dean in bondage banner for my art lj I think. :)

Oh and i've had a MASSIVE migraine yesterday and today so anyone looking for me, that's where i've been. I'm at the moment feeling a little light headed from 3 Aleve 2 Tylenol migraine and a coke. (which i don't even like to drink but needed some caffiene and didn't feel like waiting for iced tea to actually get cold and yes i ramble like this...)

so hopefull i'll be better tomorrow.

Today was the first day we could go shopping again. Good because I needed very badly something to test the water in the aquarium. The new filter fits (and works) but as I said before the plants start to get brown. And on Christmas the big fish (Skalar) stopped to catch itself food (the flakes I give them). I changed about 1/2 to 1/3 of the water on the 26th.

During this I got rid of some brown leaves and have bound the Anubias hastifolia plant on a stone now. Anyway the test stripes I bought showed that the NO3 Nitrate is way too high (about 250 mg/l). Have to change some of the water again tomorrow, it's the 3rd day. Added some stuff to reduce the Nitrate already. No clue what to do besides that. The fish looks normal, swims around but also hides in the corner or in front the mirrored side. But I didn't see it eating yet. :( I take care for them more than two years now, first time this happened.

Well at last we managed to buy a new TV for my parents. Their old one didn't function. Now they just have to get the new satellite dish installed but the electrician is ill at the moment. But I didn't make a decision about the navigation system my mother wanted to give me for Christmas. A TomTom or a Becker or a Navigon? One says a Becker Travel Assistent Z103 is the best, the other said the TomTom XL IQ Route or TT One. Deciding for a TV was easier. :|
But the X-Mas card my from Godchild's family arrived today together with their annual letter = \o/

Poor fish, though. *edit* Got FF 3.5 today. *knocks on wood* seems well.

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas!! Thank you so much to those who sent me virtual gifts and cards, they're LOVELY! Also, thank YOU for the sweet comments regarding my art in the previous post.. It's always wonderful to hear kind words from you all, it gives me motivation to do something more, you know? I think that's what getting me unmotivated.. the lack of 'feedback' since I haven't been active brought me down even more and blocking everything in me to be creative.. it's like losing a part of me because I don't hear anything positive to nudge me... does that make sense?? ah ignore me, I'm just having a moment.. lol. because sometimes, just getting ONE email telling me 'I love your work' really can make me so happy and inspired to create something.. I'm sure all artists feel the same about this... =)

I feel so relaxed today because I finally finished the website project that I'd been working on for a friend in the past few months.. It was hard since I didn't have any inspiration or motivation at all to create. But finally it's done, I'm so relieved!! You have no idea how amazing it is not to feel pressured with projects that you don't really have the heart to do it in the first place.. I know it's my fault for agreeing to do it.. but ugh, I'd help if the other option is to pay another designer $$$$ for a website that I can do for nothing since she's a friend, you know?! Well, I'm not gonna put myself in that position anymore.. unless I know I'm motivated to do something really creative! :P

But I'm a softy, it's always hard to say no to anyone.. *sighs*

My new year's resolutions are: to start creating again whether it's resources, fanart, original work, etc. To re-learn how to code a website fully and completely so I can start working as both a designer and a developer once again. I'm taking an online course for this and hopefully it won't take me long until I get back into it again. I've forgotten how to code a basic website, believe it or not.. lol. I haven't really been building any website for a year.. that's how I forgot everything. I'm going to try to manage my time better so I can still enjoy fandoms like years ago.. I'm going to continue on making and sharing resources at my beloved site.. I'm going to eat better, sleep better and spend even more time with my kids doing many creativities.. I want to teach my kids to recycle things into artwork.. like what I used to do when I was younger.. I want to teach my kids how to draw and paint properly. I want to start making my own scented candles, I want to start doing picture framing and book binding.. LOL. SO MUCH I WANT TO DO! And guess what?? I have all the materials ready!! I just have to find the time to actually do them all. Oh and paper-making is another thing I would like to do next year.

MANY ideas in my head.. I just NEED the TIME!!! I also have future paid projects already in the plan since the companies have discussed to use my services for them in the near future.. Will have to train my little Zoey to come to work with me (as a photographer).. That should be fun!!

Author’s Notes: Written for Divine Intervention’s 2009 Holiday Ficstravaganza. So… I suck. (Not news.) This is late. Like, two days late and I’m maybe hiding in a corner, beating myself up over it. It doesn’t help that I’m a little unhappy about this piece as well. :/ mpluvme, please don’t hate me! I still hope you enjoy this small fic, regardless of what I may say. (Ignore me. It’s best.) My prompt character is Faora, with special/quick appearances by Oliver and Zod. :P Faora’s kinda walking a fine line between deception and truth, and I think that’s why I’m quite iffy about how I wrote her. I’m not so hot about my characterization of Zod either. And I imagine Clark acting a certain way as well around Zod… Oi. I’m all over the place. XD;; There are a few loose ends at the end because this is meant to be a sort of snapshot of Clark and Lois during the holiday season, so some things are left open-ended. This fic happens in the course of one day and I see certain things being resolved later on down the road. I’ll probably revisit and expand on this piece later. Merry Christmas everyone!!

Thank God that is behind me and we just have the clean up and recovery, LOL.

I had my baby boy on Tuesday 22nd at 8:35pm. He was 8lb 4oz and 51cms and is absolutely gorgeous. We called him Keir Nikolai (In honour of Nikki). I got out of hospital on Christmas Eve and had to go out and finish Christmas shopping and then do wrapping etc and so of course now I am really feeling it. He's been so incredibly good. I hope to have some photos up soon.

Just wanted everyone to know that he was here!

Ok i am SO not not bragging cause honestly this is one of those gifts I would SO not buy myself cause of cost and all that, i'd just pet it fondly in the display case and move my little ass along but when Santa gets you an awesome gift you gotta share!!!!

He brought me a KINDLE!!!!!! *bounces* hee........i love my Santa!!!! (for the record he got a $500 dollar acoustic guitar so don't feel to bad for him. :D THANK GOD FOR CREDIT CARDS!!!)*giggles* yep that's where my income tax check is going (well part of it) but you know what? it's fucking xmas and my santa deserved it. :D
